Spacious Home with Three Decks Near Yosemite

This newly re-built gem offers guests well appointed bedrooms, each with deck access, TV and electric fireplace, a large kitchen stocked with just about anything you may need, all new stainless steel appliances, a gas grill on the main level deck, new crisp white bedding, hard floors throughout,updated light fixtures and fans, and lots of lighthearted mid-century inspired art.

The third level of the home hosts a large master bedroom with a king bed, a double futon, a spacious en suite full bathroom with a shower / tub combo, and a large closet. Also upstairs is a guest bedroom with a king bed, a double futon, and the Kids' Cubby, which has a full leather futon and a 55" TV with DVD player. Both rooms have deck access and far reaching views.

The lower level includes a bedroom with a queen bed and a single sleeper chair, a TV and electric fireplace, and its own slider to the lower deck with the hot tub There is a laundry room with tons of extra towels and monogrammed beach towels. We have an attached garage with games and couches for your enjoyment as well.

The main level has the living room, dining room, kitchen with new custom cabinets and quartz counter tops, and another full bathroom with a shower/ tub combo and access to the deck with a gas grill. Put your feet up and relax on a large, modern, leather sectional in front of a 65" smart TV with Netflix, Amazon, etc.

For your comfort, Egret's Landing is equipped with a thermostat which controls central heating and air. Additionally, there is a beautiful, handcrafted wood stove in the living room.

While settled in nature, Egret's Landing is just a five minute drive (2.8 miles) to the MarVal grocery, Iron Door Saloon- the oldest running saloon in California, a museum, park with a climbing structure for kids' play, upscale and casual restaurants, shops, coffee houses, and local residents who are happy to share their quaint town with visitors. A day trip to the West gate of Yosemite will take about 35 minutes on nicely maintained roads, and just over an hour to the valley floor. The historic town of Columbia is a 55 minute drive and a rich, historic experience. Columbia is lively and historically staged, recreating a classic booming gold rush era town where you will see proprietors dressed in 1850s era clothing, ride a stagecoach, pan for gold, browse 1850s era shops, picnic, dine, or just enjoy the sights strolling with an ice cream on the old, historic sidewalks.

Within the PML community, you will have access to an 18 hole championship golf course, clubhouse/ grill, beaches, a seasonal casual beach restaurant, seasonal boat and kayak rentals, a water taxi to take you between the three beaches, equestrian center, numerous hiking trails, archery and shooting ranges, a public swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and more! Exquisite views will surround you while enjoying quiet starry evenings and tranquil sunrises in the hot tub on an expansive deck.

Located near beautiful Big Creek, wildlife including deer and wild turkeys saunter through the property daily. Take a 5-10 minute walk to the Big Creek trail head and listen to the water make it's way to Pine Mountain Lake while you walk along a well maintained path.

There is a one time, per car fee of $46 which goes directly toward maintenance for the community. The personnel at the front gate of the community collect this fee and you pay pay using cash or credit card.*

Call or text us any time before or during your stay with questions. Kris, who maintains our spa, may come by to service the spa during day time hours. She will not need access to the house. Concierge services are available as well if you need anything during your stay!

Pine Mountain Lake in Groveland

A few more things to note:

• The Pine Mountain Lake community charges a per car/ per visit fee of $50.00 upon entry. This is a one time charge at the front gate which goes directly to the PML community for maintenance, etc.
• We get full bars/ 4G service with Verizon at Egret's Landing but not everywhere throughout the community for those of you who work remotely or just like to remain connected.
• There is a bus service which leaves from near the Mar-Val grocery in Groveland for travel to the Yosemite valley floor if you prefer not to drive. Check out YARTS Public Transportation site for routes, rates, and schedules.
• Unfortunately, as a visitor you are not permitted to launch your own boat on the community lake, however, there are lots of beautiful lakes to enjoy nearby. You may also rent kayaks and boats at the PML marina.
