Overall, this beautiful home has a lot of potential. The location is excellent, the size was perfect for our family (kids & dog), and the beach amenities were thoughtfully chosen. The host was professional throughout and ultimately provided a partial refund, which I appreciated. That said, we were without hot water for most of our stay, making showers, dishes, and laundry difficult. I understand unexpected issues happen, but after seeing a previous guest report the same problem days before our check-in, I wish we had been notified days before arrival rather than just hours before check-in so we could have made an informed decision. The refrigerator had mold, an unpleasant odor (prev guest also mentioned), and needed a much deeper cleaning, and the backyard hadn’t been fully picked up. Hopefully these were simply oversights by the cleaning crew. This is a great property in a perfect location and, with a little more attention to cleaning has all the makings of a full five-star stay!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this peaceful home. I honestly think our dogs enjoyed it the most. They loved running around the fenced backyard and getting all that extra space to explore. If you're planning a beach trip, you're in luck. The beach is just a short walk away. We were in town to browse antique shops, eat at a few local restaurants, and, most importantly, relax. Mission accomplished. Calida Hospitality gets a 10 out of 10 from us. They genuinely cared that we were enjoying our stay, and that level of hospitality made all the difference. We wouldn't hesitate to stay with them again.
